About My Mini Session | Q&A

Mini sessions are great to update your family photos yearly. The affordable prices attract many customers to come back every year for 1 or 2 sessions. (some of my customers book every season of the year!) when your little ones hit a certain age their attention spam can be limited so these shoots are perfect as they are quick but full of fun! The minis are on set dates of the year only so book early to avoid disappointment.

Will there be enough time?

The best tip I can give is to arrive on time and have your little ones already dressed. This gives you more shoot time as they do run back to back. I make the photoshoots relaxed and friendly to ease your children into the shoot. There is a promise of a sweet treat (if allowed I always check with parents first) at the end of the shoot which always helps them feel eager to get going with the shoot. If you did have concerns about the time it maybe best to enquire about a full session or message me with your concerns so we can work something out.

Is there options to add more images?

Yes! After your shoot you will receive your fully edited images on an online gallery. Depending on  what shoot you have booked there is a small charge per extra image or I do a good saving on buying the full gallery of images. For more information on this please feel free to message me directly as some mini prices are different from others.

Who can join in?

 I don't charge extra for parents or larger families of 4-5 children. However if you was thinking of merging the shoot with a friend or family I.e cousins or grand children please bear in mind that sometimes you may not get exactly what you expected from that time slot. i.e One cousin/friend may get more shoot time if they cause distraction to one another so sometimes its best to book two shoots back to back so you get what you wanted from your own children then merge the family's at the end of the full shoot.

What if it rains on the day of the Outdoor shoots?

The British weather is so unpredictable that if this does happen I do have a backup plan! On the morning of the shoot I will message you to give the go ahead or to reschedule for another day (I do keep a Sunday free if this happens for those that work during the week) if you are traveling from far away and it was a family reunion and that date is the only date you could get free with everyone. then  the studio would be the back up. Please note if you are more local and only wanted outdoors then I wouldn't suggest the studio. It would be another date or the deposit would be transferred to another session of your choice or it would be refunded.
